Another of us even had a crash when accessing an invitation link, and they don't look quite right across all platforms. Even when set as "public," links for Blends don't seem to work outside the two participant accounts. Sadly, I can't share any of the playlists with you as examples. My playlist generated with AP's Will Sattleberg came out mostly okay, as did another with Matt Scholtz, while Rita El Khoury and I have very little in overlapping tastes, and the results were disjointed. But if you don't share anything in musical interests, the resulting playlist feels like a hodgepodge of mismatched genres. If you already have something in common with someone, it does a pretty decent job, with more hits than misses in choosing songs you might both like. Playing with the feature among the AP staff, results have been mixed - pun intended. You can save Blend playlist to your library or leave it if and when you get tired of the mix it's created. Individual songs are attributed with avatars in the app (but not on the web or desktop client), and playlists are simply named according to the two accounts used to generate them. But, we’re pretty sure learning our audio birth chart is the most exciting addition yet.The resulting playlists are 50 songs long, alternating titles in a roughly 50/50 fashion between your tastes and pulling songs you've both enjoyed whenever possible.

Spotify has recently launched many changes to their service, including a feature that allows users to sort music by genre and a notifications tab. For example, Cage the Elephant and Boris Brejcha were my unique pairing. Spotify also shares insights that show your range of listening interests. Once you select your preferred trio, Spotify creates a Spotify Mix for each artist. This interactive feature allows you to choose three artists you’d invite to the dinner party of your dreams. Most notably, listeners can see their Audio Birth Chart - Your sun sign is the artist you listened to most over the last six months, your moon sign is represented by the artist that best shows your emotional side and your rising sign is an artist you’ve recently connected with.Īnother unique stat is Your Dream Dinner Party. Only You offers a fun, fresh set of stats for listeners. Get your #OnlyYou listening story now ✨ ✨ /X7KnX45lnm This year, Spotify launches their global Only You campaign, an in-app experience that offers listeners insights and playlists tailored to their streaming behaviors. Thankfully, getting the Only You link and accessing the newly-curated Spotify link isn’t a difficult task. Spotify users no longer have to wait for the end of the year to see insights on their unique listening patterns. However, if that doesn’t work, getting a link is the next best thing.

Global streaming giant Spotify just keeps getting better and better.
